I wish to give my opinion on the sad case of nurse Lucy Letby, who I believe was unjustly imprisoned for life, and I hope for her release as soon as possible by appealing to King Charles III for a pardon.
Monarch's pardon for Lucy Letby
I want to believe in nurse Lucy Letby's innocence for several reasons: her mother's trust in her daughter, the higher number of infant deaths she is accused of, the dubious testimony of a doctor Ravi Jayaram, and the lack of resources in several NHS public hospitals, which have victimized and witnessed this tragic situation. All these elements combined constitute a strong case for requesting a monarch's pardon so that she can be released.
In my opinion, Lucy Letby has no business being in prison; she should and can apply for her release.
If I were her lawyer, the first thing to do is:
1. Prove to the plaintiffs that the infants' deaths were not her fault but due to understaffing, inadequate equipment, or defective medical equipment that could refute the doctor's arguments.
2. Then, submit a request for clemency to the monarch “Monarch's pardon for a prisoner” in order to have his case reviewed and his release granted.
