I would like to offer my opinion on three sectors, among several that I consider important to every British citizen. I have lived in the UK for almost ten years now, and I am utterly appalled by the work done by civil servants in these two sectors.
NHS

I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that respect or affection for the British public and the civil service is nonexistent. If a government were to decide to truly clean up the administration, as President Trump did in the United States, then the majority of British people would be satisfied. Personally, I didn't understand the disdain until I witnessed the anger of the British public towards the work done by public servants when I first arrived in the UK. I discovered this when I received an answering machine message to the NHS, followed by an email request to schedule a medical appointment for a check-up. I confirm that someone who is on their deathbed and in need of emergency care can begin to say their last prayers and confess all their sins because their one way ticket to the afterlife has already been booked even before receiving emergency care—what a shame! And this was demonstrated with the sad episode of COVID-19. Healthcare, like education, is an area that the administration must take seriously. You can't joke about someone's life because all workers fund the NHS (National Health Service) through taxes, so these civil servants must deliver a minimum level of work. However, in 2026, the situation is far from ideal. I even saw comments from British people online in 2025, shocked, stunned, and angry about the waiting times for basic care, let alone emergency care! And what do we learn in 2026? The creation of a new police unit in the United Kingdom. For whom? Why? Is this a genuine emergency? If it's immigrants, there will always be more coming, while the British population is disappearing day by day. Yet another example of the government's amateurish policies. I don't want to get political, but simply clarify the situation. The Home Secretary is a ministry that many Britons dislike; even the police are no longer seen as agents of peace but as agents of discord. Under the Conservative government, it was a minister of Indian origin who held this position, hated by the British. Now it's a minister of Pakistani origin who is suffering the same fate as her predecessor. Once again, this community doesn't seem to be a source of joy for the British. If I have one piece of advice for the Conservatives, it's to clean house by removing all those people who were in power so they can be credible in the eyes of the public. I'm shocked to see former Home Secretary Patel alongside Conservative leader Kemi during debates. These are people who should be hiding from the political scene. When I arrived in the UK, it was under the May and then Johnson governments, for which I was able to obtain a permanent visa, for which I am grateful, despite my disagreement with some of Johnson's political actions, for example, regarding Ukraine. I would say that the visa agreement was based on the British Crown under Queen Elizabeth II or the current King Charles III and the Prime Minister, namely May or Johnson.
The Jobcentre Plus
I feel compelled to comment on this public service, which in my opinion is in dire need of a government overhaul. I can provide evidence, if requested, that the work is being done poorly by certain employees who should either be suspended from their duties or simply dismissed, as President Trump did. Some are like leeches, living off the sweat and blood of British workers! These people do no work whatsoever, and worse still, they are paid with our taxes, because I pay them like all British citizens. These people, mostly from the Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, and other communities, are making a complete mess of handling cases, and I have been a victim of this on several occasions. But I am a worker who likes to work and doesn't want to be like them—a freeloader or simply a proud beggar living off our taxes ! I have no respect for this community and I will never vote for these people in an election, regardless of their political affiliation. So the conservatives are warned, if he dares to put forward a candidate from that community, I'd rather go vote for the devil ! I'm talking about London because I know this service well and can easily testify, with supporting evidence, to either the incompetence of certain agents or their failure to fulfill their duties, which we, the citizens, are their employers through the government or the state, for which they will one day, sooner or later, have to provide explanations.
Conclusion
Instead of tackling the real problems facing the British, such as healthcare, purchasing power, and even housing (which I haven't mentioned, but which is also a mess the government should be addressing), they're prioritizing immigration by creating a new police force and new costs. They're doing this instead of focusing on healthcare or other areas like housing and purchasing power. They're also showcasing this ridiculous Pakistani woman, also the child of immigrants, at the Home Office, putting on a show for the media, while the police are making life difficult for people in their daily lives. That's my opinion on the situation in the UK. Based on my personal analysis and the various factors, I predict that nationalism will seize power in the UK. Labour will be ousted because they've disappointed their voters by foolishly choosing a far-right, nationalist policy. A nationalist like Trump works in the best interests of his citizens, not just pretending like Labour. To regain power, the Conservatives will have to unite or ally themselves with the nationalist far right.
